This nostalgic amateur recording of Armagedda in concert mirrors the irony of a mercilessly ambivalent endeavour in lofi sound spectre which truly deserves the necro attribute.
Back in 2002 Armagedda played few gigs, but in contrast to many others, they had a concrete and despite their raw sound a quite sublime vision of traditional black metal however it seems to me, and even more in retrospective, that the band had to challenge itself by experiencing its isolation in a scene already corrupted by commercial conformism and ebrious smugness on most levels. Maybe that tour de force was decisive for the band to spark the fire from the in any case heavily smouldering embers.
